Why Some LEDs Are Expensive

Nowadays, many people in the market say that some leds are expensive when they hear the leds` price, and think that they have no advantage. They just like cheap products, and the cheaper the better. But when the cheap leds are applied to make kinds of lighting products, they will always find that the leds often had problems, either dead lights, or fluidization, and so on. The last thing is to return frequently. Fine accounts, round trip freight, labor, time and so on, but also to the customer left a bad reputation. These costs are basically avoidable for products with guaranteed quality and a little more expensive. So how to choose the best quality and inexpensive lamp leds?

 

Take our leds 2835 to calculate, the structure of the leds are composed of several parts：brackets, chips, gold wire, glue. The following can be analyzed from these aspects.

 

1. brackets: now there are silver plated iron supports on the market and silver plated copper brackets. It also depends on how much silver is plated. The advantages and disadvantages of the iron bracket and the copper bracket are: the copper bracket has good heat dissipation and the heat dissipation of the iron bracket is poor.

2.chip: As we all know, there are no the core technology of chips in China, and the technology is not very mature.  However, there are still some good led manufacturers in the domestic, such as Xiamen Sanan, Hang Zhou Silan Azure, Epistar and so on.

 

3. gold wire: I believe you all know that there are many alloy wires on the market, but there are few pure gold wires. Gold is also rare with 90% gold content. As long as the alloy wires are not well dissipated, the alloy wires will split, leading to the phenomenon of dead lights. But the pure gold wire has good temperature resistance, so there will be very few cracking.

 

4. glue: now many people say that it is using the letter glue, and the letter glue is also divided into several kinds of quality.  There are more than RMB1000, more than RMB2000, RMB3000 or RMB4000, or other more expensive kinds.
